Parish and town councils work closely with Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and community wardens to improve local safety. Through regular communication, they share information on crime trends, traffic issues, and resident concerns, fostering coordinated efforts for crime prevention and road safety.

They collaborate on community safety initiatives like Neighbourhood Watch, and may allocate budget funds for safety measures such as CCTV or street lighting. The councils also support crime prevention campaigns and help facilitate public consultations to ensure residents' concerns are addressed. Additionally, they gather feedback on safety issues and report it to PCSOs and wardens, who provide updates on actions taken. This partnership strengthens community safety and enhances the overall quality of life.
