A Councils Emergency Plan is crucial for ensuring the community is well-prepared to respond effectively to emergencies and unexpected incidents. Having a structured plan in place helps protect residents, property, and critical infrastructure while enabling a coordinated response to crises such as severe weather, flooding, pandemics, power outages, or other emergencies.
