These forums will offer councils a chance to hear the latest news from Suffolk Highways on a range of topics to ensure improved communications.

This forum is to provide town and parish councils with information on the Winter Service provided by Suffolk Highways.

It is anticipated that the forum will provide information on:

• Planning activities for the         season

• Depots, resources and funding

• Forecasting and decision making

• What we do (e.g. winter network,         domains, spread rates)

• Driver’s hours

• Historical treatment summary

• Communication (e.g. socials)

• Community Self-Help

Councils will have the chance to ask questions and these will be collated prior to the forum.
