Framlingham is an historic market town, famous for its castle and is often cited as one of the best places to live.

Framlingham has a population of around 5,000 following recent expansion.  The council has 13 councillors and operates 7 committees and a number of working groups.

Due to long-term sickness there is a requirement for a temporary/locum town clerk, on a full or part-time basis to suit the candidate.

Pay range: SCP 29-32 dependent upon qualifications and experience, plus generous local government pension.
