The Parish of Flempton cum Hengrave is located on the A1101 corridor three miles north-west of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The Parish consists of some 300 households with an annual precept of approximately £10,000. The Parish Council currently consists of 6 Councillors with 2 vacancies.

We are looking for a friendly and efficient person to join our team in the role of Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO). The role is open to start from March 2025 following interviews and selection by the Parish Council. 

Salary: In accordance with NJC salary rates, experience, and qualifications.

Hours: The hours are flexible equating to roughly 20 hours a month to include attendance at evening Parish Council meetings every 2 months or as the council deem necessary.
