Flood Smart Living
A new resource from Suffolk County Council

Suffolk County Council have produced a new guide, Flood Smart Living, to support local communities at risk of flooding. It is an interactive document that provides a range of measures that could be implemented, targeted at your catchment, your community and your home, providing useful advice and guidance to enable you to take the next step in becoming resilient to flooding. This new resource is printable and will soon be available as a mobile version.

We recommend the guide to be read alongside the S19 Flood Investigations. You can read this information in the Flood Smart Living Handbook.

Suffolk County Council will be updating their website to have a dedicated flood resilient webpage.  Councils will be informed once this new webpage is available.  Suffolk County Council is encouraging councils to share this information with residents.
