Following significant changes to employers national insurance contributions announced in the budget last week, there is concern about the financial impact on our sector and budget decisions town and parish councils and parish meetings will need to make. 

SALC have circulated a survey to members to help assess the impact on Suffolk councils so that there is an accurate picture across the County.  We will be comparing this data with other information that is coming to light so that we can lobby both independently but also alongside other stakeholders on behalf of the communities we serve.   The survey was sent to clerks on Wednesday 6th November and will close at the end of the month.
